Last Minute Adoption

Last Minute Adoption plan? It’s Never too Late..

Your adoption process can start in early pregnancy up until anytime after you give birth to your baby.  We’ve even had some young ladies take their babies home and realize that they struggled to provide for their child’s needs. It is never too late to make an adoption plan for your child.

When you make that decision (or if you just want to learn more) please feel free to call our Expectant Mother’s Line or Email us directly from the website. We are available “around the clock” and 24/7.

Call us anytime at 1-844-426-7734 for more information. We can help you learn about South Carolina Adoption.

Everything is PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL! You decide what is best for your baby. You are under no obligation while you are learning and trying to make this decision.

We are here to support you at whatever point you come to us. We understand that this is not easy and we will be there to help you and your child whenever you reach out to us. We can explain the process and give you your options. Our staff consists of very loving and caring ladies who truly want to support you and your decisions.

When you are ready, you can choose a loving and pre-screened adoptive family at no cost to you. You will look though profiles of different families and make the selection based on what you are looking for.

After you have chosen a family, you can talk by phone, text or meet them to make sure that you are absolutely comfortable moving forward.

You can be sure that all of our families have undergone background investigations to make sure that they are safe, law abiding and upstanding citizens. This is a South Carolina adoption requirement, but at ADOPTION OPTIONS, we also have our own (additional) requirements that our families must go through in order to be on our waiting list.

After you have delivered your baby and have connected with your chosen family, you will consent to the adoption. In South Carolina, this is typically the day after you have given birth. Even if you make this decision after you have delivered your baby, your selected family is prepared to get to you quickly.

Many young women choose to have ongoing contact with their child’s adoptive family, and our adoptive families are ready and willing to embrace their child’s “First” Mother. You can be involved in your child’s life, if you choose to.

Many families report very warm and loving relationships with their child’s Birthmother. Openness has proven to be a very healthy and positive experience for the child as well as the adults who love him (or her)!

Other young women would rather just have ongoing letters and pictures, and some mothers choose no contact at all. The type of contact you will have is completely up to you.

Please know that – at any point – we can provide professional counseling to help you cope with all of the emotions and feelings you will have as you go though this process.

Once you have made an adoption plan, we can help you with basic expenses such as rent, food, phone and other essentials. We want to help you achieve your life goals.
